This 75-year-old basically has the world’s cutest “job title” — professional cat pillow.
Meet Terry, a retired teacher who spends his days at a small pet shelter in Green Bay just… napping with lonely cats. That’s it. He grabs a couch, a blanket, a fluffy kitty, and dozes off so they feel safe and loved instead of stressed and scared.
The shelter takes in special-needs cats, so that calm, cozy human contact actually helps them trust people again. Staff started snapping pics of Terry passed out with kittens on his chest, posted them online… and the internet did its thing.
Those simple nap photos have raised over $30,000 in donations and even helped cats get adopted faster.
All from one man, a comfy couch, and a whole lot of purrs.
